Wheaton Park Students
Practice rides for qualified students are offered on Sunday mornings at 9:00, 10:00, and 11:00 am. The cost is $40.00 per hour. Please check with your instructor to see if you are qualified before signing up.

One of the few stables in the Washington D.C. area that offer escorted trail rides for adults and children. Escorted trail rides are available Sunday afternoons and last one hour. The cost for the trail ride is $40.00 per person .
*Reservations are required, and may be made no earlier than the previous Sunday for 1 or 2 people. The earliest time to call is 9:30, the Sunday before you would like to ride.
*Groups of 3 or more may reserve earlier with a deposit of ½ the total amount. This is required when making a group reservation. Often it is better to reserve at least a month ahead of time, especially when the weather is nice.
*Children must be at least 8 years of age. For your safety and the well being of our horses, the weight limit is 200 pounds.
What to wear for your trail ride:
You must wear long pants - no shorts. Boots or closed shoes with a small heel are preferred. Sandals, clogs or open shoes are not allowed. An ASTM certified riding helmet will be provided.

Group lessons begin the week of the 6th of September! See you all then!
The cost of lessons is $450 for the 12 weeks. If you are renting a helmet for the series add $10 to the total. All checks should be made out to Wheaton Park Stables.
