Hello!  My name is Kristin Austin and I wanted to invite you to learn a bit more about the new Pony Pals riding program at WPS!  Feel free to contact me anytime through this email address or call the stables at 301-622-2424 for questions or availability.  We have new sessions being scheduled now and more will be opening up in the Summer, not to mention a very exciting opportunity of a Pony Pals Summer Camp!!

• Pony Pals was created for children 7 years of age and younger. Each students horse must be attached to a lead line with handler.

• Classes run in 8 week sessions - paid by first class of each session. Session Fee $240 Helmet Rental Fee $10

• Classes will average 3 to 4 students

• Student must arrive at least 5 minutes prior to class start time for helmet fitting and horse assignment. Late arrivals 5 minutes or more will be considered absent and cannot join the class. Classes can be rescheduled based upon availability within the 8 week session time frame.

• It is beneficial for the parent and child to learn equine safety together. Parental involvement is encouraged, from holding the lead line to assisting with groundwork for safety purposes.

P O N Y P A L S

- Summer Camp -

A special half-day camp for riders 7 and under! Campers will learn all about basic horse care including: grooming, horse tack, anatomy, color/breed, and barn safety. Daily English riding lessons, barn chores, games, and crafts! The last day of camp we will hold a horse and rider costume show including a pot-luck picnic for all parents and students to enjoy.

• Session 1 - July 2^nd thru July 6^th ; Session 2 - July 30^th thru August 3^rd

• Camp runs from 9 am till 1 pm Monday thru Friday

• Before and after care is available on a day to day basis at $6 per hour (8 - 9 am ; 1 – 3 pm)

• Camp Week Fee is $300 Helmet Rental Fee is $10/week

• Only 8 campers per session

• $100 non-refundable deposit to reserve a spot

• Campers must bring a bag lunch each day
