We only take out small groups because we
only use horses that we feel are 100%
safe for beginner riders.
Safety is our #1 priority.

Horses!
Our school horses are our greatest assets. Some of them have taught generations of riders
while others are new to the farm. We have horses for every ability, from beginners needing
a steady quiet horse to more advanced horses for students looking to progress their riding and
learn something new.
Our horses have all different backgrounds and range in age from 6 to 34! We find that our older
horses make wonderful beginner horses as they know their job so well that they keep our beginners
confident and safe. They enjoy the light work load to keep them feeling younger and get lots of attention from our students. As our horses retire we keep them at the farm or try and find them a perfect retirement home. Once they work for Wheaton Park Stables we are forever in their debt for their hard work as lesson horses.
Our younger guys keep our students on their toes and push them to further progress in their riding techniques. They do all of the jumping and are part of our Intermediate to Advanced classes.
